Pictures of Pain

I look upon these three pictures

They are pictures of pain

For that is what they cause

They are a symbol of those who are sorely missed

For one of them made a choice

That the others could not resist

They represent words never spoken

And a childs heart broken

From all those promises that were broken

I hold these pictures as my token

To remind me of

All those many years

Oh so many tears

These pictures of mine

Which I hold so dear

Only makes me wish that much more

That they be near

Please dont let

These beautiful pictures fade

They hold the key to the hope that was put away

The hope that hides deep inside

One little soul where it loves to hide

Wishing for those tears to be dried

In these pictures the pain is not seen

For those who are in the pictures have forgotten

Forgotten the cousin that loves them so

Forgotten things of before they had to go
