Dear Becky,

It was nice to get your letter.We miss you. I can't wait until summer either.

We have been fishing alot lately. Today I caught 5 or 6 catfish. We will eat them tomarrow. We have a new computer at work. That is as close as we get to having a new computer. They are alot of fun. Tell your mom + dad "HI" and all your brothers and sisters too. We love you and hope to see you again in august.

How are you? Fine I hope As for me Just great. well tammy is in the first grade, and the dude "Bret" is doing ok. Aunt Betty can't catch any fish but brett and I can and we did.Tammy does girl stuff and all that.Tell robert and nick HI for me, and kiss angie for me. We will try to see you in august for the campover at uncle pat's house. Well here's looking at you kid. Hope to see you soon.

Dear Rebecca,

The letter you wrote was terrific! I enjoy hearing from you even when I don't have time to write you in return. I'm going to try harder to answer your letters. Maybe we can become not just friends but pen-pals also.

I miss you also and think about you and the rest of your family often. One of our horses had a colt on easter (tammy's mare). He is really getting big. Brett had a horse that was pregnant also but his died while trying to give birth to twins.It was sad. She was my favorite.It was even sadder for brett since it died on his birthday.

That was the bad news, now lets pick it up and have some good news! Brett just turned 9 years old and Tammy just turned 11 years old. They like to swim and go camping and fishing and ride thier horses. I enjoy the horses also and all that other stuff. I've been working at a greenhouse selling flowers during the spring and will probably do it in the fall again. I've also been training horses during the cooler weather. That's what I enjoy the most!

The weather has been really hot here. I guess it is around most of the country. My favorite time of year is still spring and fall.I guess it is because I like to feel the wind blow on a warm day.

Well I am getting dinner ready so I'll write you later. Enjoy your trip to Mackinac City and the rest of your summer vacation.

Hi Becky! Tammy and Brett Start school tomarrow. I met Bretts teacher. She seems real nice. Tammy hasn't met any of her teachers yet. She's moved into middle school and will be changing rooms and teachers all day. The two of them had fun shoppin for school clothes and supplies today. I miss them when they go to school. Summer vacation is the best!! I don't have much to say today. This week has been a slow week and not much has happened.

Becky,

I've been very busy the last week so I'm just going to write a short note. We put our horse and carriage in the labor day parade in doniphan. We're also building a trailor so we can haul our horse and wagons on. I'll write again soon!

Hi Becky,

We've been going to alot of rodeos and trail rides the last couple of months. Also we have had our horse and buggy in two parades. We won "first place" in both parades. We've been busy but I still enjoy hearing from you.

Hi Becky!

Anything new with you? I've beenworkin 5 and 6 days a week. Tammy got strieght A's and Brett got B's on thier report cards.  We've been going on trail rideson our days off. Otherwise, we been real busy. Our son Tommy and his Wife Shelley are expecting a baby in  about 7 months. Eric and his girlfriend expectin one also at about the same time. How is your family?
